This Saturday, April 10th is a big one for Ann Arbor, The University of Michigan and especially all of you: TEDxUofM starts with registration opening at 8:00 am.

We want to make sure everyone gets their badge and enters the Biomedical Research Science Building with enough time, so keep the following in mind as you prepare for Saturday:

  • Allow time: Finding the building location, getting a parking spot and then walking into the building will take longer than you think. Also consider that a lot of people will arrive at the same time. Plan extra time if you’re driving (and bring cash or your credit card for the parking lot). Full details on directions and parking are here.
  • Prepare your friends and family for connectivity darkness: Phones stay off at TED, so let the important people in your life know that you’re going to be out of touch during the day. You can check messages if you need to in the common areas, but we don’t want phones ringing during presentations.
  • Plan your TED: We don’t mean driving directions. Follow these guidelines to get the most out of the event.

Sleep tight. We can’t wait to see you on Saturday morning.

Thanks,
