The TEDxUofM team is full of music lovers who have always thought that sound is a particularly important way to connect with ideas and thought. Thus, for the second year running, we’ve brought to you ten tracks from Michigan’s community of artists specifically tailored to awaken the creative flow.

In the spirit of TED, we decided to allow an opportunity to showcase some of the most amazing projects and people from the U of M community. The purpose of TEDxLabs is to Inspire TEDxUofM attendees and community in an exhibit/fair/gallery format.

It’s our job to educate the whole being, not just stay in a practice room and practice twelve hours a day.

The Spotlight Project is an attempt to expose these different experiences through the timeless act of storytelling. It’s about growing community of exciting people who believe TEDxUofM is just the beginning of an experience worth spreading.  

TEDxUofM is the independently student-organized TED event at the University of Michigan that will take place on March 29th, 2012. TEDxUofM 2012 will take place on March 29th at the Power Center for the Performing Arts. This marks the third annual TEDx event held at the University of Michigan and we are excited to bring the great minds of our community together.
